Flexi-Q EAI (Emergency Auto-Injector) – Human-Centered Design for Safe and Confident Self-Injection
Flexi-Q EAI is a fully disposable, two-step auto-injector designed to support safe, reliable self-injection while reducing stress and uncertainty for patients. Our work focused on Industrial Design and User Experience, ensuring the device is intuitive, simple to operate, and reassuring throughout the entire injection process.
The injector works with standard pre-filled syringes, requiring no changes to the drug container, and integrates advanced internal mechanisms that protect the syringe, control injection depth, and keep the needle fully concealed. By centering the design around patient comfort, safety, and clarity, the device helps minimize needle anxiety, prevent needle-stick injuries, and ensure accurate, full-dose delivery across a range of medical and emergency use cases.

One-Hand Strapping Technique: Push and Pull forces counteracting one against the other
Following brain or muscle injury, some patients retain function on only one side of their body. Our one-hand strapping technique uses the Electric Unit as a fixed anchor point, enabling users to independently attach the device to the same precise location each time—with just one hand.
